Job Role:
- Planning Designing of Telecom Passive network for fiber network.
- Fiber planning and designing of fibre network in Smallworld, Map-info.
- Should be able to work on different GIS datasets and create new information or investigate patterns using MAP-INFO or other GIS tools.
- Understand design aspects for fiber rollout proven experience in people management & change management.
- Good in tools like AUTOCAD, Smallworld, Google Earth, MapInfo, Global Mapper, Q GIS.
- Good in Map-info or any other feasibility tool to write queries and preparing BOQ.
- Communicate with teams for any additional data / clarification required.
- Good writing skills - for documentation, training, processes.
- Giving support in the development of a work plan for complex projects.
- Supporting and participating in the designing and development of the geospatial database.
- Create AutoCAD As-Built drawings of OSP and ISP network as per field execution.
- Makes revisions to existing AutoCAD As-Built drawings as requested by CFT.
- Design optical fibre cable to commercial and residential premises.
- Good understanding of Optical and last mile local networks (up to customer premises).
- Hand-on experience on telecom networks including OSP and ISP elements.
- Good blend of telecom domain and technical skills.
- Monitor and correct update the Field/GIS discrepancies.
- Good in tools like AUTOCAD, Smallworld, Smart Inventory, Google Earth, MapInfo.
- Good analytical / problem solving skills.
- Maintaining up-to-date and accurate geospatial documentation for reference purposes.
- Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.
- Advanced working knowledge on MS-Office applications & Technical systems.
- Excellent verbal / written communication skills.
- Good in Map-info or any other feasibility tool to write queries and preparing BOQ.
- Responsible to 100% data quality GIS Network.
- Report on rejections and quality check with all CFT.
- Ensure end to end tracking for sites with clarifications required from end customer.
- Minimize product rework or rejection and maintain zero rejection where possible.
- Creating and maintaining the structures necessary for GIS data storage.
