Position: Quality Engineer

Location: Pune, Shivajinagar Maharashtra, India

Experience: 5-8 yrs

• Experience in Quality Management within project environment.

Qualification: Bachelor in (Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering. )

Job description:

 RFI's, MIR's & WIR's Management:

•  Closing of all Material Inspection Reports (MIRs) with clients.
•  Monitoring and updating of all site execution and testing Request for Inspections (RFI's).
•  Following up with site engineers for Balance RFIs.
•  Snag points circulating to site engineers.
•  Planning of Snag points with Engineers for closing.
•  Open RFI's follow-up with Engineers for response.
•  Raising of Work Inspection Reports (WIR) in wrench with all installation compliances.

 Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) & Supplier Management:

•  Conducting FAT at factory premises.
•  Following up with suppliers for compliance submission.
•  Submitting the FAT report after conducting the FAT.
•  Dispatch clearance to all suppliers.
•  Material Test Certificate (MTC) & Test report collection for consumable items from suppliers before dispatch clearance.

Logistics Management System (LMS) & Inventory Control:

•  Internal quality checking at site after receiving of materials.
•  Reporting deviations to suppliers.
•  Generation of the supplier template in LMS and share with suppliers.
•  Clearing all doubts of suppliers for LMS sheet updating.
•  Following up for packing code with store team and share with suppliers.
•  Punching all Snag points (SNG) in LMS.
•  Deviations and Non-Conformance Report (NCR) updating in LMS.
•  Helping the site team for material in LMS for material requests.
•  Material Inspection Request (MIR) in LMS.
•  Stock report of all material availability in store.
•  Raising the material request for for REL team.

 Non-Conformance Report (NCR), Observations & Deviations Management:

•  Root Cause Analysis (RCA), lesson learned & corrective action updating on LMS
•  NCR/Observations/Deviations/Compliance collection from site.
•  Response submission of NCR & observations to engineer for closing.
•  Deviations closing in LMS.
•  Regular follow-up for deviations closing on time with site team.

 Supplier Quality Management:

•  Monitoring consolidated issue list of suppliers at site execution & testing.
•  Regular follow-up all issues with suppliers and trying to resolve ASAP.
•  Co-ordinate with the team & supplier for closing the issues.
•  Centralized the data of site of MOMs with suppliers.
•  Missing items follow up with suppliers.
•  Raising the NCR for supplier issues.
•  Quality Works & System Management:
•  Quality training conducted at site as per method statements.
•  Checking the site work as per method statement.
•  Raising of NCR to supplier & other parties & interface partners
•  Deviations punching in LMS from compliance works.
•  Replacing all RFI's & Quality training in wrench.
•  Calibration of all equipment’s & punching the record in LMS.
•  Maintaining quality records & documents as per Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
•  Regular site inspections, circular observations and process compliance to all stakeholders followed by RCA for critical observations.
•  Ensuring development of Quality works at site.
•  Involving monitoring quality assurance KPIs, analysing data, and developing corrective solutions for quality issues.
•  Participating in ISO 9001 audit and introducing all quality records of projects.
•  Proposing for debit note for subcontractor issues.

 Other Works & Coordination:

•  Looking after car arrangements of REL and highlighting the issues with car vendors.
• Participating in Handing over of technical rooms & Viaduct of REL
•  Following up with TPL for signing the Handing over documents of Third Rail items.
•  Maintaining a circulating weekly planning sheet.
•  Following up with Commercial for supplier GRN completion.

Employment Type: Contractual for 1 year and can be extendable.
