Job Role:
- Advanced System Administration: Manage and maintain Linux servers, including installation, configuration, and optimization for performance.
- Patch Management: Implement a structured patch management lifecycle, including acquiring, testing, deploying, and verifying patches to ensure systems are secure and up-to-date134.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Handle escalated issues from L1 administrators and diagnose complex hardware/software problems.
- Server Monitoring: Monitor system health using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus and proactively address performance bottlenecks.
- Networking Support: Configure and troubleshoot network services such as DNS, DHCP, FTP, NFS, and VPNs.
- Security Management: Implement advanced security measures such as firewall configurations (iptables), SELinux/AppArmor policies, and vulnerability assessments.
- Automation and Scripting: Develop scripts using Bash or Python to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
- Backup and Disaster Recovery: Ensure proper backup procedures are in place and assist in designing disaster recovery plans.

Required Skills:
- Proficient knowledge of Linux distributions (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL).

Qualifications:
