Position: AutoCAD Engineer (On Third-party payroll position)

Location: Chennai

Experience: 3+ years of experience

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.

Additional Skills:

•  Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D); knowledge of other CAD software (e.g., Revit, SolidWorks, Civil 3D) is a plus.
•  Strong understanding of engineering principles and technical drawing standards.
•  Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
•  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•  Good communication and time management skills.
•  Experience in HVAC systems, Building Automation, Fire Alarm System, Physical Security System.
•  Familiarity with BIM processes and tools.

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Engineer to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and managing technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software.
• You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of design documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Develop 2D and 3D CAD drawings based on project specifications and design requirements.
•  Collaborate with engineering and design teams to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
•  Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design changes.
•  Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and company guidelines.
•  Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions.
•  Assist in preparing documentation for permits, construction, and manufacturing.
•  Conduct site visits or coordinate with field teams to gather data when necessary.
• Languages: Proficient in English & German.
