Job Description:
- Excellent knowledge on Network Provisioning, Customer Service Configurations, NOC Operations in SDH / SONET / DWDM / OTN / PTN / Mobility Transport Networks
- Scheduling, booking planned outages, carrying out network & customer change & Migration activities etc. related to legacy and latest transmission technologies
- Manual discovery of trails in a complex Transport network to understand the network topology and prepare MOP to migrate services from SDH to SDH/MPLS-TP as well as OEM to other OEM
- Provide inputs to automation team for possibilities of automating MOP & configuration change in multivendor scenario.
- Experience in new node integration, node up-gradation, ring splitting, network optimization and network restructuring activities
- Carry out post-configuration testing & performance management activities
- Expertise in SDH, DWDM, OTN & Basic knowledge on various vendor NMS/EMS systems
- Exposure to new node integration, node up-gradation, ring splitting, network optimization and network restructuring activities.
- Maintain comprehensive logs of all activities undertaken in pursuance of job completion
- Coordination with Other Licensed Operators for Planned Outages / Migrations
- Basic knowledge on IP / Data networks
- Experience in BSS/OSS applications like Remedy, Clarity & Crammer etc
- Coordination with Transmission Planning, Project Management, Field Support teams for the delivery of SDH/SONET/DWDM/OTN Core bandwidths
- Able to communicate technical concepts to all levels
- Liaise with customer representatives to progress fault resolution.
