Experience: 4 to 8 yrs

Requirements:

You should have experience preferably in siemens PLC Automation.
Experience in commissioning of cranes up to 400 ton.
Certified Industrial Electrician / Crane Electrical Maintenance Training.
PLC & VFD Programming Certification (Siemens, ABB, Rockwell, Danfoss, etc.)
Electrical Safety & Arc Flash Protection Certification.
Experience in Steel Plant is mandatory.
Electrical Supervisory license is mandatory.

Job Requirements:

Should have experience in executing Crane maintenance activities in Steel Industry with a capacity of about 400 ton.
Should have deep knowledge in siemens PLC Automation (Siemens PLC- S7-300/400/400H/1200/1500, MM440, ABB drives, Danfoss drives). Preventive, Predictive and Breakdown Maintenance jobs and periodic inspection associated with PLC system including all the software & hardware aspect of programming and networking well versed with PCS-7 &CFC charts, Block diagrams, Ladder logic.
Experience in troubleshooting in Fault finding, repair and replacement of control.
instrumentation cable between PLC, RIO panel and field devices.
Configure, install, and troubleshoot VFDs & Drives from Siemens, ABB, Danfoss etc.
Perform parameterization and tunning for motor control, braking and load handling.
Ensure Safe and efficient movement of cranes, including hoisting, trolley movement, and gantry motion.
Read & interpret electrical schematics, control panel drawings, and wiring diagrams.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards (IEC, NEC, etc)
Work with encoders, load sensors, safety relays and other instrumentation for precise control.
Diagnose and rectify faults in PLC, drive, and control systems.
Provide remote and onsite support for troubleshooting.
Work closely with OEM’s and Third-party vendors for system upgrades and spare parts.
Perform routine health checks of crane automation and drive systems to prevent failures and downtime.
Maintain detailed reports of PLC programs, drive configurations and system modifications.
Prepare technical reports, SOPs, and maintenance logs.
PLC programming & troubleshooting of Siemens, ABB, Rockwell, Beckhoff etc.
Should be well verse in maintaining & trouble shooting of Drives of Siemens Sinamics, ABB
ACS/DCS, Danfoss, Schneider, Yasakawa etc.
Should be good in industrial communication: PROFINET, PROFIBUS, MODBUS, CANopen, Ethercat.
Maintain crane power supply systems, busbars, and circuit breakers.
Ensure proper grounding, insulation, and protection of cables exposed to high temperatures.
Follow electrical safety standards (IEC, NEC, OSHA, IS) and implement arc flash protection measures.
Inspect and calibrate load sensors, temperature sensors, encoders, and safety interlocks.
Maintain and troubleshoot brake control systems, overload relays, and anti-sway mechanisms.
Should have an ability to identify and troubleshoot the malfunctions, replacing parts and components.
Work with heat-resistant cables, thermally insulated enclosures, and cooling systems for crane electronics.
Ensure proper selection and installation of high-temperature-rated electrical components.
Maintain electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, maintenance logs, and SOPs.
Conduct energy audits and recommend power optimization strategies.
Train technicians on safe maintenance practices in high-temperature environments.
Should be familiar with safety procedures while carrying out electrical work.
Keep good Coordination and Communication, good relationship with Team members and Client.
Should be familiar with Report preparation, PPT & Excel.
