Job Description-

  • Ticket Monitoring & Incident Management
  • Monitor alerts and tickets in T2R and Zabbix.
  •  Convert Zabbix alerts into T2R tickets.
  •  Update ticket status and ensure proper documentation.
  •  Perform initial validation and basic troubleshooting.
  •  Escalate unresolved issues to L2 teams with proper details.
  •  Handle P2 tickets and coordinate with application teams via email.
  •  Create and close Service Requests (SRs) after task completion.
  •  Server Monitoring & Basic Troubleshooting
  •  Monitor server alerts such as host down, high CPU, memory, and disk utilization.
  •  Perform ping checks using Zabbix and Command Prompt.
  •  Validate hosts using hostnames in vCenter.
  •  Monitor CPU and memory utilization.
  •  Analyze disk usage using folder/tree size tools.
  •  Perform cleanup of temporary and unwanted files after user approval.
  •  Windows Server Operations
  •  Perform Windows server reboot activities as per approved change requests.
  •  Place servers into Maintenance Mode during activities.
  •  Validate Windows server patching activities.
  •  Verify patch installation success or failure.
  •  Perform basic troubleshooting for patch-related issues and escalate to L2 when
  •  required.
  •  Linux Server Operations
  •  Perform Linux server pre-check and post-check activities using standardcommands.
  •  Take VM snapshots before patching activities.
  •  Delete old and unused snapshots from vCenter after confirmation.
  •  Reboot Linux servers and verify server availability post reboot.
  •  VMware / Virtualization Monitoring
